The Caribbean Resort Myrtle Beach Dominican Tower may not be as tall as its sister property the Cayman Tower but this 14 story building gives you a nice place to stay directly on the beach. The large outdoor swimming pool and Lazy River are located directly off of the back of the building so if you are wanting a little more peace and quiet, you might consider asking for a room above the 10th floor. This will not get you away from all of the noise but it does cut down on it quite a bit.
Room for up to Six
All of the Suites are identical to one another except for one option. You can choose to get a room that has 2 Queen beds or a single King Bed. Of course, getting the double queens gives you the option of having up to 6 people since you also get a pull down Murphy bed in the Living area. The living area is not huge, having about 500 square feet of space but it is larger than a standard hotel room. In fact, since these are suites, you do get a small but functional Galley type of kitchen to fix meals in if you would like. All of the appliances are full size but there is not a lot of room for large counter top areas. All in all, if you are on a budget and don’t want to spend the extra on a larger 2 or 3 bedroom option at the Cayman Tower, this should do nicely.
Views of the Ocean
Each of these suites have a nice balcony and if you ask for Oceanfront, you will actually be overlooking the Pool and Lazy river. Just past the pool deck, you have the full width of the Beach and the beautiful views of the Ocean and waves. Just the sounds alone are enough for some, and if this is all you are interested in, an Oceanview room is a little cheaper.
What are the Rooms like?
As mentioned earlier, the only real difference in the rooms is the bedding configuration. As you enter the room from the inner hallway, you step directly into the bedroom with either 2 Queen Beds or a Single King Bed. As you continue through, you will walk through the Kitchen area on your left and a full Bath on your right. At the end of the unit you have the Living area with plenty of seating and a pull down Murphy Bed. Take a look at all of the room configurations at the Caribbean Resort Facts.
