Not only by the pure size of this Resort but also because it is designed to throw you back to an era of simpler times. You will instantly get the feeling of this as you pull up to the front entrance. The Neon outlined sign along with the curvature of the building says, take me back to the 30’s. Rooms, Studios and Condos
When you stay at the BayWatch Resort Myrtle Beach, there is no shortage of room options or layouts to choose from. The smaller and least expensive rooms are the Studio with 2 Queens or 1 King Bed. The room configurations are slightly different between the two with the King Studio having a separate Living area with Sleeper sofa. The Studio units do not offer a full kitchen but they do have a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
If you advance to any of the 1, 2 or 3 Bedroom Suites, you also get a few great amenities that you will not find in the Studio options. Each of these larger units offer a full size kitchen with all of the Pots, Pans, Dishware and Utensils you will need to prepare any meals in your very own room. Most of these Condos also come with a Washer and Dryer, making your Laundry tasks easy all through your stay. The 2 and 3 Bedroom Condos all have a Whirlpool tub!
Oceanfront Views at the Baywatch Resort Myrtle Beach
One of the biggest reasons to stay at the Baywatch Resort in Myrtle Beach is the View. One thing to note is the Studios do not offer a view of the Ocean but if you move up to the 1 Bedroom Suite, you have the option of an Ocean View or Oceanfront location. All of the 2 and 3 Bedroom Condominiums are Oceanfront. Every unit has a Balcony, giving you a perfect place to sit and watch the passers by and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach.

Pros:
The Bay Watch Resort Myrtle Beach Reviews might not be quite as good its sister property, the Atlantic Breeze Myrtle Beach but it seems that most of the reviews are far above average. Guests like the fact that there are so many options when booking. Studios are great for the a couple and large families love the space you get in the 2 and 3 bedroom condos. The staff is said to be very nice and accommodating and for the most part, the rooms are clean. Understand that these are Condos and are not all managed by the same company. Make sure you check that the actual Condo room you are staying in has good reviews and not just the location itself. Kids love having multiple pools and the Indoor Lazy River is a great addition in the winter. Having an Oceanfront Suite is wonderful and watching the sunrise makes for a special romantic visit.

Cons:
Again, most of the complaints are due to certain management companies not going the best job in maintaining the rooms. Another sore spot with guests is the fact that this Resort is "Dog" friendly but not "Pet" friendly. Don't expect to bring your cat along for the trip, in other words.

Indoor and Outdoor Water Fun
The Bay Watch Resort Myrtle Beach has plenty of Pool fun and makes our list because of the 2 Lazy Rivers. Very few Hotels in Myrtle Beach have even 1, but the Bay Watch Resort Myrtle Beach has an Indoor and Outdoor Lazy River. This makes for amazing fun all year long. Also, having 2 Indoor Pools is a fantastic find for those cold winter months when it is impossible to swim outside. Bubbling Hot Tubs can be found around all of the Pools. There are a total of 7 public Whirlpools at the Myrtle Beach Baywatch Resort. It is a little surprising that they do not have any Water Slides with all of the water amenities on site.
Dining at the Bay Watch Resort Myrtle Beach
The Bay Watch Resort in North Myrtle Beach offers 3 full Restaurants on their grounds. The Blue Bistro has burgers and wraps and is open all day. The Fishtails Beach Bar offers the best in adult beverages while also serving Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. The Sandtrap Sports Bar is a great place to hang out with friends and grab a great sandwich or specialty drink.
